International Permaculture Day 2014

We celebrated  International PermaCulture Day again, with a bilingual talk (in English & Spanish) that takes an integral perspective on this year's topic: Food Freedom  - now available as one of our series of free mini-courses -  (CourseB) On Sunday the 4th of May we started exploring this important topic in a more integral (radical, & for some, controversial) way than usual, exploring these different facets: We had a great conference during which we  questioned as many  permacuture 'holy cows' as possible   (which we called 'holy legumes' for the purpose of this conference, for reasons that will be revealed!) in order to evolve the dialogue  that we believe has gotten a little too stuck around 'do gardening' as a proposed solution to the most pressing problems we face today, like climate-change. International Permaculture Day 2013

We're collaborating again this year with  International Permaculture Day! & as NodoEspiral we have been asked to be their Media Partners , because they were very impressed with how we organized things to stream live parts of the  European PC Convergence  last summer! Being 'Media Partners' means we'll manage the 24 hour live & video event on May 5th that they want to do this year ... International Permaculture Day 2012

International Permaculture Day, 6th of May  In solidarity with all the people who on this day will show their gardens & will create activities to promote permaculture work being done in their areas, we also decided to create an 'open doors' event & organize a small exhibition (of the most accessible kind: online) of the work of the students who want to share, He have put together the students for all parts of the world, some presentations are in Spanish and Some in English, You can try google translate for the ones you don't understand!! Our Birthday Party

In April we celebrated the first birthday of the PDC+++ & to celebrate we connected at a party on the 25th of april, from various continents (North & South America, Europe, Africa) with music, doing mind-maps of what the year has been for each of us, presenting how our designs are moving with photos & ...  <<<  ... doing collective drawings like this one We also celebrated by launching a few new proposals for the second year, thanks to the collaboration of the course students.    Here you can see some: A year of Adventures ... ... of deep learnings, new friendships & life-changes. It's been a year now that we set sail together with the first pioneers of this voyage which is delighting, challenging & amazing us ... & we have been welcoming new crew members during the journey, stopping off for anyone who felt ready to embark on this big adventure.
